Marjan Benjamins was born in the Netherlands and in 1984 immigrated to the United States. In the past 17 years she has lived in Jefferson, Maryland with her husband and two sons. She has been inspired to create handcrafted work all of her life. In 2004 she started to make pottery. Her inspiration comes from her love of nature and her European background.
