I took my first wheel thrown pottery class at the Frederick Clay Studio in 2017, and I've been doing it ever since. I primarily focus on hand-painted and carved pieces, but I also do some handbuilding, sculpting and wood fire work. I began teaching workshops on my surface decorating techniques in late 2022, and have enjoyed passing my knowledge onto other potters. I still work out of the Frederick Clay Studio, but also throw pots at my home in Hedgesville, WV. My work is influenced by my graphic design background and inspired by vector illustrations and nature.
