After a lifetime of loving hand crafted pottery, one day my own children came home with pottery they made in their high school classes.  Awed and inspired, I started making my own pots in the ceramics program at Anne Arundel Community College in 2003. Since 2011 I have had a home studio where I make pieces that range from rustic to whimsical.

My pieces find themselves at home in the kitchen, on the dining table, on the mantel and hearth, on the dresser top, and in corners of book shelves.  I enjoy using multiple techniques for decoration including horsehair raku, carving, and free hand drawing with colorful underglazes.
