Jane Dunsmore was trained in a traditional Oriental style pottery making at the Visual Arts Center, Columbia, MD. However, her major ceramic influence has been Ian Gregory who taught her how to use of paper clay to create large sculptural works that could be fired in an electric kiln. Her current works are tile murals or sculptures designed for the garden.
